Post Automatic Shifter **** adapter

I was wondering if anyone made an adapter so I can put different ***** on my automatic shifter. I hate that "T" shifter if anything does anyone want to trade their camaro one for my firebird one?
Thanks
Nate

You have a few options here...

1) You can get a Camaro Auto Shifter with the button on the top, its a direct replacement as the shifter "shaft" is the same on the Camaro and Firebird.

2) There are some auto ***** out there by like RKSport and other companies that are made for our cars

3) There is an adapter that is made, actually came out quite recently, that lets you use manual shifter *****. I think the **** goes on the adapter and you push the **** down which replicates the button pressing for shifting. DMH makes this and I think one other company has it, dont remember what company that is though. The DMH adapter is great from what I hear.

Yep, I know this. I'm looking for option 3 (considering my topic heading, and my post). Do you have any info on this? Website? Contacts?
Thanks
Nate

I wish BM or Hurst would make a shifter for our cars. Nothing at all for 4L60 or 4L80 trans.

Hey got a few questions about the adapter, does it turn the whole rod into a polished/brushed alumium <SP?> or is it just the piece? If the piece is that can it be painted (I'm looking at a black shifting **** from Ractive because it'll fit my interior theme better than a chrome or polished look)?
Thanks
Nate

Yeah the whole rod is polished, Im sure if sanded and prepped properly it could be painted black no problem.

Well if the whole shifter and rod are polished then I can get the same **** in chrome for the same price and it would all look in place. If it were just one small piece that was polished and then you got the regular tranny shifter rod with a matte black finish it just wouldn't look right, IMO. Thanks for the info.
