How'd it get wrecked? Looks good, but I'd say ditch the wheels, lower it, and defintely paint the headlight buckets black.

Black headlight buckets! And yeah, the wheels stick out too far to look right unless you put ground effects on it. I have the Rebels on my blue car, but they only look good because the ground effects stick out as far as the wheels do. Otherwise, I'd get some wheels that tuck into the wheel wells better. Paint look great though!

x3!

those wheels will look better if you lower the car. x4 on the headlight buckets AND grill in satin black.

The car has come a long way, props to you for taking the time to put it back together whereas others would have just sent it on its way to the junkyard. I agree with the others, the headlight buckets would look alot better black. With that wheel/tire combo, the car definitely could use a drop to close up those huge gaps. Maybe get some polished tailpipes down the road, otherwise its looking very good. :thumb:

He may just be saving the buckets til last. Being a Z, I would've painted the top black, but that's just me.

True... but without the junkyard... where would we get our hard to find or expensive parts? :D

I didn't even notice the grille. So used to it being white. It also doesn't look like the roof got messed up from the crash. Impressive!

:D I am painting the headlight buckets black thats why the bumper cover isnt fastned down all the way yet.. and yes i plan on dropping the car on some hotchkis spings in a couple weeks! and for the tailpipes i do have some stainless pipes laying around in the garage, but i think i am just gonna whack those and throw some turn downs on it.

I think the grill section i am going to keep white, because i have a red chevy emblem off of a newer monte carlo that looks pretty good on top of the white. Along with some 69Z emblems to go with it.
As for the roof ALL HAIL the 4th gens structural design for keeping my head in tact!

My car salesman always told me "if you're going to be in a wreck, be in a Camaro or Corvette, because you'll usually walk away." I guess he was right!

Yeah, a car salesman told me once that the firebirds came supercharged from the factory. Sounds like an idiot to me! They'll tell you anything to sell the car.

LOL I don't want to hijack this guy's thread... it does look nice BTW  But ya gotta wonder how many parts on e-Bay motors and the for sale section on here come from salvaged cars? :D

You could get a Vortech supercharger from GM Accessories, so that's not entirely wrong! :)
