Well, his air lid doesn't stick up as much as the other guy's air lid. To me, the other guy's air lid looks really weird. I've never looked at an LS1 at that angle before, so I don't know which air lid is normal.

the lid is a normal lid off a ws6 on the completed car the higher lid is a aftermarket lid .

Looks like crap, especially with the corrugated plastic tubing. I'm sure that could be replaced with silicone couplers.

Also, he's not going to get any "ram" effect... dumbass.... the stock boxes suck from underneath... the Ram-Air boxes have the entire top of that airbox wide open and seal to the hood and use the nostrils...

iam know that! So i cut under the hood and iam making it ram air . just because i have a idea of doing this doesnt make me a dumbass !! when iam done with it i will post it so everyone will see stupid asses like u comment on this board even if they dont know what there talking about . It will work when im done !

that is my next step to clean it up , i was just trying to get things to hook together . It will look nice when done .
