FS: Onkyo 5.1 HTiB

I am selling my old HTiB setup. It is the Onkyo HT-590S 5.1 system. The unit still looks new. Only reason that I am selling is that I just upgraded my whole system. I will also include the speakers stands that I used for the front two speakers.

Asking $150 plus shipping if needed. Let me know if you have any other questions.

So, no one is interested in a pretty cheap, but decent home theater for their bedroom or anything?

Just let me know what you want to do. I went and took a few pictures. I didn't get a picture of the back of the receiver since I still have the receiver hooked up, but you can easily find a picture of the back of it on the internet if you want a full list of inputs.

Yea, I can try and do that. I have to figure out the best way to package it (the stands throw off the packaging a bit because of the long "arms") so I can get an accurate estimate of the shipping.

Just to give you a rough idea, I put in 55 pounds for shipping (Amazon has it listed at 56 pounds which seems a little high, but I am assuming it is close) and it looks like UPS Ground will cost about $33 assuming it does weigh 55 pounds.

Do you want to just do $175 shipped? If it costs less than $25 to ship I can refund you the difference, if it costs more than $25 (assuming its not like $50), I can just eat the rest.

Let me know what you think.

Quick question -- does it do video signal upgrading? Specifically, from S-Video or RCA to Component?

I'm pretty sure I'll take you up on this at $175 shipped. Just need to do a little more convincing with the wife.

If the stands are a big pain, maybe remove them from the bases and ship them separately as a long, skinny package? Whatever works. Are there four stands or just two?

I do not believe that the receiver does any video signal conversion unfortunately. I already disassembled the stands and they actually might not be too bad to include all in one package. I haven't tried packing it yet though just in case you don't end up wanting it.

It really is a pretty good system and the only reason that I am really upgrading it is because I wanted a better subwoofer (powered) and HDMI.

EDIT: There are only two stands, I just used them for the fronts. The speakers all have threaded inserts and keyholes to easily wall mount them as well.

Yea, paypal works for me. My email address is csbrown@gmail.com. Depending on what time I get out of work today, if I can find a box that will work I will try and pack it up and get it shipped out later today (assuming I have payment). Worst case, if I can't get it out today, I should be able to get it out tomorrow.

It came yesterday.

Seller feedback: great communication, had a tracking number before ups.com actually recognized it as a valid package, product was packaged well, is exactly what was shown in the pictures (also including manuals, cables, etc), and works perfectly.

Thanks!
