Switching engine combo's
Well after haveing fun building my 500rwhp 398 LT1 I think I'm going to go old school now. My last combo was a solid Roller, AFR210 headed, FAST, Victor JR. intake. This net my LT1 just over 500rwhp. I'd like to try bigger CID while still staying a SBC. Going Aftermarket block 427cid. My question is, since sb2.2's are out of the question here( can't afford them) what other head might I be able to work with here? Looking for over 600rwhp on this one. How might I do with a set of Brodix T1's? I'd like to stay away from 23* heads here. Just looking to make big power while still NA. I'm still going to stay with a Solid roller Cam. Just how much power is possible NA. Is 650ish asking to much.

What about these brodix heads.

How do these compare to sb2.2?

Re: Switching engine combo's
It would be do able with 400 CFM making about 800FWHP but that's a stretch. Everything would have to be sooooo right. The SB 2.2's can flow 470-480 and can get it done. Talk to your porter and see what he says he can get out of them.
The intake will have to not loose much flow when bolted on, for it to happen.

this is probally the route I'm going. Sure I could go turbo and make big power but I still like making it NA. Thanks
