Solid roller set up
 
Ok with the new CC solid x lifters they are .300 longer so i can use my OE lenth push rods?

why do you have to change the lenth of your valves .100?

is there anthing that i am missing here? that sould know?

Yes alot that you are missing..The stock pushrods are 3 piece welded junk..There arent hardened either so they will die quickly with guide plates..Also if you like puchrods that are bent to all hell then stock is the way to go..sereously they arent strong enough to support a roller cams stiff spring..Solid roller that is..

Look into getting a 1 pc pushrod..at least .080 wall thickness made cromemoly..The solid roller lifters body that your are refering to just has a longer body to clear the flats in the lifter valley on the late model blocksThey are designs to be drop in replacements for old school standard lifters.style solid roller lifters hit the blocks at teh link bars..I had to do some grinding to clear the linkbars to run my offset crowers..Its ok if the block hasnt been cleaned yet but its a no no if your assembling the engine..
