Is this right?

"The heads retain stock valve sizes because torque will suffer with bigger valves unless your LT1 bottom end is radical or your running a stroker motor. (do the research) "

Found a set of LT1 heads on Ebay and this comment was made . Is this right? If so what's the reasoning?

Large runner volume with BIG valves, YES. LT1 heads with an average port job, 2.00/1.55 valves should have little or no effect on low end TQ.
