Rebuild to 383??? help guys plz

I went on the LT1 board about 5 times. No one seems to help there anymore. People only go to ask questions.

Well anyway. I start my 97Z in the morn and I hear slapping for about.5 sec. Then when the cars warms up I hear loud knocking. Safe to say I threw a bearing. Anyway being that I'm gonna break her down. I was wondering should I just bore it out or stroke it to a 383? If I do, is it that much more difficult? I have a hell of a lot ofquestions guys and would REALLY appreciate the help.

Thanks a lot S.J.S.

"don't bore it, stoke it"

The famous words^^

If you are going to build a stroker motor, i would have it professionally done.....last a lot longer--unless you have done it before. my .02

It looks to me like your getting help in your other threads:
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=154503
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=155166

Your questions can easily be answered by doing a search as these questions have been gone over numerous times.

Nonetheless, this is not the forum for general rebuild questions, Closing.
Thanks.
