Procharged 516ci. BBC into 95 Transam with stock suspension?

Well my current combo of my 355" LT1 has run 10.17@133.6mph on drag radials with about 650-700FWHP and I have the oppurtunity to put a 1,385HP BBC into my 95 T/A. We want to go racing some true 10.5" tire races and be competitive. I know Hardcore Motorsports have been 7.90's on stock type suspension (Torque Arm) and 29x10.5's in "The Mule" and I know it will take alot of work. But Brady went 9.50's@140+mph with a 540inch BBC and 125HP n2o (on Drag Radials no less) on it's very first outing (saw it first hand at the Thunder Race 03'). I would first put the BBC in just motor which makes 700+HP and tune to make it hook N/A then add the Procharger and go from there. I will take everything out that needs to go like HVAC box, stock leather seats, stock tank(5gallon fuel cell), add a manual rack, VFN fiberglass dash and so on. I would like to get it to 3200lbs raceweight with the BBC and driver. I would then get a 10 point chromemoly cage, Madman's Extreme Torquearm, rear swaybar, some coilover rear shocks etc.. for rear susapension. We want to go with a FAST setup for fuel and timing. What you guys think? Around our local tracks you have to run 8.50's-8.90's to be competitive on true 10.5"'s. I think this would be very doable with the kind of power this engine made on the dyno with blowthru carbs on it. The engine is for my Dad and he wants to put it in my car with either his TH400 or a Glide. I will sell all my LT1 parts to buy the cage, rack , rear suspension, rearend etc... What you guys think? I am also contemplating going with a ladderbar setup instead of stock suspension but would rather stay with the stock type suspension if possible just for the cool factor. LMK Later Clint

Sounds like an awsome idea. I think it should run great. Those blow thru carb chargers seem to work really well from what ive seen.

Also i want to buy you bottom end...im moving up.

I'd be more concerned about FITTING a Procharged BBC before worrying about hooking it.

Can it be done. No doubt. Rick Head from Innovative Turbo went 7.6s on a twin turbo SBC w/ stock-style suspension (and drag radials).
