I am looking at a set of heads. AFR 210s with a 69 cc combustion chamber. I am thinking of using a set of JE Nitrous Dome pistons with a 10 cc dome (not inverted dome). Will the dome piston work with these heads. I know it may be a stupid question but its monday, what can I say.

Depends on how much the block has been decked.

On my 383 Im running SRP domed pistons which are +7cc. Block is zero decked. AFR 210 heads, with 76cc chambers.

The pistons actually tapped the head chamber spinning it over by hand. We clayed the piston and took a little more material out of the chamber and that worked fine. Also worth noting that HUGE valve reliefs were cut into the pistons when i got them b/c the guy who had them before me was running a very radical setup. These valve reliefs were plenty big for the oversized AFR valves, but stock it may be an issue.

Anyways just make sure to clay for valve clearence and also piston/chamber clearence and you should be good to go, worst case have to do a little reshaping/cutting reliefs into pistons.
