head surface question

I just got my heads back from my machine shop. I noticed this small imperfection that seems like a raised split... maybe like the cutter caught and lifted the metal a little. Please take a look at the following pics and tell me if this is something I should be worried about.

Thanks,

It looks like the cutting edges, or at least one of them on a multi-tool cutter loaded up a little. If you can remove little pieces of aluminum it could be a problem. If not, it doesn't look bad.

You get better sealing to the head gasket with a slightly rough surface than a smooth polished surface.

You might take a piece of 220 or so paper and run around the edge of the chambers just to eliminate any sharp edges or burrs which could burn or break off.

If you are concerned, take them back and ask.

How much was milled off?
