Dart 18*vs Brodix 18*

I have been thinking about going with 18* set up on this new motor we are planning.A 434 with supercharger+a shot of nos.I know the Brodix you can still use 23*stuff and the Dart has to use off set stuff but other than that are there any difference between the two? Thanks alot guys

Re: Dart 18*vs Brodix 18*

You must be talking about the 18X head?

Brodix does make an 18º head that's similar to GM's, Dart's etc..

BTW, have you seen these pictures? http://web.camaross.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=53

I talked to a good friend of mine (Ultra Pro Machine) at length about the 18X head last week. The condensed version of the response is.... it can't compete with a true 18º head but it is very competitive with some of the better 23º heads on the market... including many that have a good deal of development in them.

If you take a look at the pics, you'll see that the differences are obvious.

How much HP can you afford ($) to make and how much do you think you want?

Re: Dart 18*vs Brodix 18*

Hey Mindgame thanks for the reply. The reason I asked is that I can get the Dart's at a jobbers rate and was wondering would there be any performance difference between the two.As far as power is concerned that is still up in the air right now still in the planning stages.
