Accel SuperRam

is anyone aware of what type of intake manifold the SuperRam
sports, single plane? dual plane? is it just a modified TPI manifold?

doing some desktop dyno calculations here, so I need to try
and get to the closest thing..

with it set to stock TunePort injection. my numbers come to;

Flywheel
573 lb/ft Torque @ 4000rpm
538 hp @ 5500rpm

at SinglePlane manifold;

594 lb/ft torque @ 5000rpm
625 hp @ 6000rpm

there is also tunnel-ram type...

593 lb/ft Torque @ 5000rpm
624 hp @ 6000rpm

of course.. I could always just care less, smack on a Garrett T45
with 10psi and crank out:

1001 lb/ft Torque @ 5000rpm
1056 hp @ 6500rpm

course, that's overboard.

anyways, answer to previous question? anyone? using
desktop dyno 2000, just curious as to the intake manifold type
on an Accel SuperRam (or the closest matching type, plus or
minus and values to the end result)..

I know the numbers this software spits out are not exact, that's
a given, but I have been told they're ballpark figures, so i'll
make do with that

thanks.

This is the complete Superram package (intake and manifold). This is the manifold itself...

To answer your first question, it's a TPI-Style manifold, I don't believe it will interconnect with stock TPI components. You'll probably get better information if you ask about this in the 3rd Gen section.

GACK! Forgot to include

it's a SuperRam for a Big Block Chevy..

I noticed we were discussing the wrong thing when you
showed the picture of the superram...

here's what the bbc version looks like:

for one, it's got one hell of a kickass look, and secondly, I can't
see any runners from that angle, so it might be single plane?

With that setup, I'd probably choose "Sequential Fire Injection" from the pull down menu.

I'm a little confussed by the question, but I think the Super Ram would be considered a single plane. It's just and rectangular box(plenum) set on top of 8 individual runners. TPI of course.
