what does the lsa mean? i see this all the time and it bothers the hell outta me cuz i cant figure it out!

We can educate you here, not a problem for most the guys on this side of the message board. But why write a paragraph or two explaining this when there are so many good (much more in-depth) tech articles on the web?

I was going to type all that from memory, but then I heard my mommy calling me...so I didn't!

One thing you've probably read from many automotive message boards is,
"Oh, I'm getting a new camshaft and it's going to have a crazy lope with a 112 LSA".

I haven't read through that article, but I can bet it mentions something like,
"Lobe Seperation Angle has little to do with idle quality by itself".

After reading that link, you should be able to dispell many message board rumors
about how camshafts do their job.

Edit - I just had a quick view of the link. LCA would be the same as LSA
if you're wondering. Great article Mindgame!
