Pressing the brake pedal while accelerating does little if anything to stop the car.
Jeep had a similar problem with their brake pedals being "off center".
People would swear the accelerator stuck when the problem was their foot would catch the edge of the accelerator pedal under panic braking, making it very difficult to stop...

BTW, that comes from a Chrys. Master tech..w/over 25years.
Besides, variables for foot size, brake conditions etc..results won't be identical.
