Question is that normal?

okay, after getting out the bitch mobile I noticed upon walking into the house that there was a hissing sound that sound as if the tire was leaking but it wasnt. So I go to get a look close and I see it wasn't coming from the tire at all, no, in fact it sounded as if it were coming from the upper left side of the hood (looking at it from the front). But after a few seconds the sound starts to fade away and I really havent gave it much thought but I thought since I'm on this site I might as well ask to know wut it is....

On what car? My electric fuel pump has kept running awhile and whined in back and made funny sounds up front. Thats on a carb car though.

Residual pressure from your air pump? Could be a number of things.

If it is the A/C equaling out that's not good it's called migration.
I would check vacuume lines, do you have power breaks after you turn off the car?
You should be able to push the break down a few tmes before it turns into a brick.
