are you sure? if im not mistaken, the 350's had bigger fuel injectors than any 305. they are interchangeable though, you might have to do something with your chip to accomodate for the more fuel.

If your 350 is stock, you can probably use the 305 injectors and bump the fuel pressure (that would require an adjustable fuel pressure regulator) to around 50lbs and you'd probably be ok.

But for what injectors cost, I'd just get the right size.

cool thanks for the advice!!!

305's have 19 lb injectors and the 350's had 22 lb injectors. The 19 lb inj will support up to 325 HP. If you crank up fuel pressure to 50 psi you will gain finer atomization of the fuel which is what you want in a fuel injector but look at what your HP ratings are so you are getting the correct amount of fuel. Have you done any mods or are you running stock? If installed a cam or ? you want to keep your 22 lb inj. You do not need to make a chip change but if you want to increase the pulse width of the injector then go to a dealer and order a prom for a 88 corvette L98 and it will help a little.

A Corvette PROM won't work in an f-body. There are a few small differences that prevent it from functioning.

If you got a PAIR as in two??? I don't think thats going to work on a TPI?????

yes they will fit right in. no difference other than output. 19# = 305 22# = 350. so the 2 cylinders you put them in will run leaner than the other 6

JIM85 - I've been using a '88 corvette 350 prom for the past three years in a 87 IROC (350). The only difference is increased pulse withd for the injector and a little more timing...Works very well and is only about $40.......An 89 PROM will not work........

Good advice. Now why didn't I think about that. Lets see 2
cylinders With 19# FI and 6 cylinders wth 22# FI on a 350 TPI. Should run just right and great performance and gas mileage.;) ;)

when i said i i was going to pair of them i meant all 8 not just two of them!

Well thats better, However when I read PAIR it means TWO
not EIGHT. Just remenber we are not mind readers and trying to guess what you mean.;) ;) ;)

Will they fit in physically? Yes. Will it work, maybe. Will there be problems, most likely. It will run lean and the ECM might be able to compensate but it could hurt the engine in the long run if it runs acceptable. Upping the fuel pressure might help but the difference is (17-19)/19 which makes it 10.53% smaller.
