Idle's for a long time
Okay I don't even think saying it idle's for a long time is right so lemme try and explain. At first it started off with it taking a little longer to start up when it was cold but then I notice at time when it starts the engine starts at high rpm's then it eventually drops back down. Now I'm the second owner and the man said he had a chip installed and the person who did it for him did not install it right. Ever since he uninstalled the chip he said at times it does it but he said its nothing to worry about. My question is, is it something to worry about? Also is it related to why my engine when turned off at time it sounds like air is being released if that make since?

dotn worry about it all that it is doing is compensating for the cold, so you start it and it stays at a higher RPM so it warms the engine properly, then it drop when it is at a certain tempature. dont worry about it, its natral, its called having the choke come on.
