I'm looking to run my car at the track and wanted to know what you guys thought my car will run set up as stock. But I'm going to have a 410 post. Rear end Installed in it. Right now it has a 323 and it just doesn't feel like its enough. What else do you guys think I should do to the motor and the car to help it out.

 

Your car will slow down at the track if you go to 4:10 gears - your motor will not have the revs and will have to go into OD at the end of the quarter. Leave what you have.

 

3.42s would be max gear i'd do, but wouldnt make enough difference to be worth swapping gears...
do a few bolt ons, but you should be in the mid 14s...
what a car should do and what is does is another thing. its really all about the driver

 

If it helps, mine ran a 14.2 @ 97mph when it was bone stock. 5.7L with the auto.
