mystery hose unplugged for cruise control
was taking pics of my car today wondering about why theres an unhooked vacume hose. i stuck the camera under the car a few times and it piced up another thing that i didnt see before.
first off, wtf is this hose? i cant find any place where it could plug in. and wtf is this cable/hose behind my fender? http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...50_53_full.jpg where does this vacume hose go? that unplugged thing is a headlight wire http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...50_54_full.jpg and what the hell is this? |
could it be the line that was spouse to go to you vacum ball?? i dunno looks like i coulda been just sayin
|
whats a vacume ball?
anyone have pics or know where this thing attaches to? |
Does your cruise work?
Look for a possible connector on your engines manifold somewhere. It may also be for the ball, but why the ball's not there is beyond me. |
Same problem with mine.

i bumped into a pole a year ago that pushed the bumper on that side back about 6" car looked fine from the outside because the bumper covered all the damage. got almost all the parts to repair/replace for a repaint except for this magic ball thing..... i guess the ball flew off when i hit the pole.

ya that line absolutly runs to the ball. Mine broke off when i crashed my car too, still have it but the way it mounts is broken
|
what does it mount to?
|
Sometimes they're inside the fender and the hose slips thru a small hole in the inner fender to the "plastic ball", vacuum resivoir. I'd have to go look at mine to tell you exactly where it's at, but it's round and about 5" across and black plastic.

Someone have PICS?
