i got an 89z28 irocz but it has an older carb engine in it jus rebuild the engine this year and the pos cable acidentaly grounded off due to a bad tape job that i didnt know about it wornt turn on but i think its the spark that its not giving it cranks but it doesnt spark any ideas please sum helpthan

 

check all of your fuses in the fuse block and also look down where the hot wire ties in to the starter and see if you have a few red wires that are burned in 2. those are fuseable links and this is a strong possibility where your issue is. afte that get a new bat wire and take care on installing the new cable.
