head gasket??
i have an 89 gta 350 l98 tpi.the car has some water coming out of the exhaust on start up until it warms up(more than the usual condensation)and it has almost a miss like sound out of the exhaust at idle.i have a few bubbles coming up in the radiator every 20-30 seconds.does this sound like a head gasket?is there anything special i need to know when pulling the haeds or any tricks to save me some time?any help would be excellent
thanks Roger |
Yeah, that sounds like a head gasket. See which cylinder has a wet plug, or do a compression test to isolate the offending gasket.

Definatly sounds like a head gasket. Pull your plugs out. If it is burning coolant like you said, there should be deposits on the plug from the offending cylinder.
