Hi im new to the site and need some help... 89 350 TPI. If it has been sitting for a few hours it some time takes 20 or so cranks to get started and is sluggish car doesn't have the power it should.I've put some new stuff on it with no luck...NEW fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap, coil, ICM,TPS,pick up coil, egr temperature switch, I've tested the battery and alternator, tried a used set of injectors and was no change.. i have 42psi at the rail.. any suggestions would be very appreciated...

Re: Hard start, sluggish loss of HP
you said fuel pump, what about the filter? you also changed the TPS, did you set it to .54 Mv?
check your timing also and check when you hit the key but dont start it, do you hear the FP run? if not it might be your FP relay which is next to the MAF burn off relay and the MAF power relay, its the more square and"slightly" smaller relay.
you can find what the base timing is on the emissions sticker under the lip of the hood.
