Just bought a 1986 IROC, power question.
305 Automatic TPI, 68K original miles, one owner, all original, super clean (interior is all original) and tight. Other than a light tune up, she runs strong. Is it worth putting a chip and exhaust in this car? I don't want to break the bank but want to do it right if possible. I'm a greenskeeper by trade, not real car engine inclined....plenty of buddies that are great mechanics but not alot of experience with this age of car doing mods. Any help is appreciated.

headers are the single best simple big mod you can do to the TPI. i sugguest the hooker 2055 and Y pipe. they install fairly easy and require no gaskets at the collector as they use a ball and socket style connection and are emissions legal.
