I would guess the middle one, but if you aren't sure. Pull the number 1 plug and bump it until it blows your finger off at tdc. Whichever mark points up will be it.

But if I do the middle one then the crankshaft-dot will be exactly half-way across from camshaft dot.
In order for the dots to be aligned, then I would have to put it on the first dot located at 1 o'clock.

Rotate the engine till the #1 cylinder is at top dead center of the compression stroke, then set the timing chain gears to line up dot to dot using whichever keyway is in the correct position.

Use the round key way and the dot for a straight up install.

The pointed key way and the triangel for 4* advanced install.

use the keyway in the middle..

It'll be -4* -- straight up -- +4*

so use whichever keyway is in the middle

Ooohh.. awesome dude Thank you a TON AND A HALF MAN! I had the packaging in my g/f's garage I was working in, but my g/f's mom's b/f (wow.. that took a minute to think about ) must have thrown the damned thing out.
Thanks a LOT though, otherwise my car would have been retarded 4*.

Wait a minute.. i AM just lining the dots up, correct? Dot-to-dot? Or is the one I am supposed to use NOT the one that goes w/ the dot? I am thinking I go to the middle one.. as stated. First one is 4* ret, middle is stock, and last is 4* adv right?

Put the key way in the rounded hole (crank gear) and line up the dots ( on both)

And you will be good to go.
