Red face BRakes Pulling HArd RIght! SCary **** Guys HElp *

My friend just bought an 83 z-28 and it is a nice car to build up. We just replaced the front brake rotors, pads, put on 88 iorc calipers and made sure everything was bolted up right. I noticed when we bled the brakes it took almost 50 pumps to get the fluid to barely eek.. out on the drivers side brake, while when bleeding the other side it was squirting out with a lot of pressure. It is as if there is only a small amount of pressure going to the driver side brakes. I was thinking it was the proportioning valve. What do you guys think?? The symptoms are when you step on the brake it pulls hard to the right side of the road. AS if the passenger side caliper is braking just fine. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks guys!!

replace both brake hoses before they completely collapse on ya. I think they run about $15ea, but well worth it

don't forget the one for the back brakes while you are at it.

If they haven't been changed in a while, swap out the calipers too. They're cheap.

I said I changed the calipers... My 88 iroc calipers worked beutifully. I will change the brake lines today as well as the proportioning valve. ALl this crap is coming off my stock 88 iroc tpi that is being transformed into a real mean street machine. I am replacing everything and giving it all to my friend...

I had this problem once. The brake line to the caliper was clogged.
