On a 224 cam, your power will peak well before 6000 RPM. At that rate, I dont think you'll be effectively using those big 220 cc ports, the forged bottom end or those 38 pound injectors. Then again, maybe you are thinking of installing a dual stage dry nitrous system??
heads, valve lift, intake centerline, lobe seperation, etc all play a factor.
his combo may peak higher or lower than yours with similar parts.

Setups sound pretty good, interesting numbers from some of you guys...I have Patriot cnc 195s...lunati 232/242 110LSA .544/.560...HSR...Hooker LTs...on a 10.5:1 350...with T56 and 3.73 posi should be good for 11s or extremely low 12s with a professionaly tune, the shortblock is in the car waiting for some decent weather to put the heads and cam in, until then they sit.

I dont know much about the twisted wedge heads, and as was said they were ported.

But fuuudge thats a hell of a fast time on a n/a 350. I know of lots of 383 motors with afr 195's, appropriate cam and a big carb intake, only running mid 12's. Id like to know more about the car you speak of.
96m6lt1 is right back in the 1998 i ran 12.4x @112miles in a 91z with factory short block NA with a ported set of trick flow TW g2 heads ,factory ported tpi base, slp runners ,58 mm tband 24 lbs inj. I used a 9" rear end with 4.11 and a tremec tko 5spd in the car. I ran more than 50 passes in the mid 12s.

Well, my old combo was a 377 (383 but not bored .030 over, just stock bore) Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads, 10.0 compression, Victor Jr. intake, 248/248 .600/.600 110 hyd. roller cam, T56, 3.73's, Mighty Demon 850 annular carb. Never ran it on slicks, ran 12.24@125 with a cracked piston in hole 8. Made alot of smoke, smelled bad too. I've gone faster that that with that motor but I can't find the timeslips, but I do have that 12.24 one on tape, looked like the M8 event.

It was pretty streetable too, drove it all the way to US131 from my house, over a 2 hour trip. Only casualty was the 10 bolt at the track.
