BFGoodrich G Force T/A KDW ?
Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus ?
Goodyear Eagle GT-HR ?
Goodyear Eagle RS - A ?
Dunlop SP Sport A2 Plus ?

Thankx , AJ

I have been looking for tires also, seem to have it down to three brands
Yokohama AVID V4S
Yokohama AVID T4
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
These are all season tires 245-50-16

Fuzion ZRi
summer tire 245-50-16

I do not need tires till spring time, I have a 92 RS.
I have a set of the Fuzion ZRi on my 96 Impala SS and like them alot, but in real cold & snow they suck, just a three season tire. The price is right tho.

If you want the best, get the BFG KD's. Since you don't drive it in the rain, don't bother with the KD(WET) tires.

Totally agree w/ stanghunter. I had KDWS's on my IROC and loved them, great handling tire...so im sure the regular KD's are a little better than that.

The Avids are cheap, but worth what you pay for them- handling so-so, and they wear pretty quickly-

I have had a couple sets of the Firestone, liked them- wore well, predictable handling- Worth it in my book

I like my BFG KDW's great handling, I don't like to drive it in the rain only if I have to. Pretty good off the line, although I have not run them on the drag strip they do feel better than the Faulken Zeix I had before.

BFG's have really hard sidewalls. They SUCK at the strip. Don't try it, you're 60's are going to be horrible

I bought KHUMO and like 'em ok. They really do better than people think. They did really good in the rain until they got 15K miles on them. They do wear quicker than the name brands. I plan to get BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS. I have KHUMO 245/50-16 on the front and 255/50-16 on the rear. They really help on take off.

is money an issue? the best replacement i've ever found for the factory stock was the michelin pilots. their h rated worked nicer then the z rated comparable bfg. but, being sponsored by bfg i must tell you the kdw 2's were a decent tire as well. i've had just about all the brands and if i can spring the money the michelins always get it, bfg is a close second though.

i currently run michelin pilot sport 2's when i don't have to do a show.

at $650 a tire though i don't run them on my rs which i try to daily drive. for that i use some off the wall tire that i can get reasonably.

I Like NeoGens...
There a knock off nitto Tire
I have read reviews on them as best buys, and I have them and LOVE them

they are decent in the rain and hook up like mad for handling and acceleration
They are only about 120 a tire too, so burn them up and don't care....thats what I do anyway..
Just my .02

$120 a tire for a 16 is expensive you can get almost anything in that range if you search well.
