Yellow 2010 Camaro L99 goes tickety tick in the morning!
I have only had this car for three months, and it was quiet for first week! Private party sale, and had M1 filter and oil in it when I bought it. On cold mornings, it could tick for a minute before all noise is gone. But what I really don't like is how soft and slow the shifts seem. Only in comp mode using paddle shifters at higher rpm's does the trans make quickish and firm shifts. Living in California, I would like to get a tune (svt), but ultimately cannot buy because they won't ship it to me. And, I am assuming part of tune is quicker firmer shifts. Going to Bully Dog site, they won't acknowledge that the legal unit specifically will firm up shifts. My questions : is there an additive that quiets the lifter ticking, and what tuner device can I buy out here that is worth the money?
