im very into centrifugal superchargers. i love pro charger and vortech. if/ when i boost mine, this is the route i will be going .
pros....its about 1500-2k cheaper than the maggie or whipple. easy to install. dont get heat soak like the maggie. i believe they are lighter.great blower whine! can handle tons of boost. and did i mention through certain dealers that their about 2k cheaper than a roots style? vortech's design is much better than they used to be. kinda took some notes from pro charger. they dont have the air to water cooler andy more. now they just have the air to air intercooler in front of the car. the older air to water coolers worked, but then you had a huge box sitting on top of your engine. these new ones are much nicer. very reliable. tons of different things you can do to them. you can get a larger pulley so you dont get belt slippage.
it really depends on what your wanting the boost for. maggie and whipple are great low end tq and power off the line.....the vortech and procharger are great for high rpm power. once you crack the throttle and the rpms go shooting up...watch out! this thing is a beast.

you dont need cash! find a credit card company to give you 12-24 months interest free. theres all kinds of them out there.

thats what i have done in the past. BUT....if you cant afford to buy it...DONT. my moto is ...if you cant afford to buy it in cash, dont buy it. the cash is nice ot have for just in case. so dont blow all your cash on a supercharger. blow the banks cash on it. and pay them back over 2 years.
im actually thinking of getting an interest free card to finance my new wheels. then once i sell my 22's ill just pay the card off.
