REV EXTREME CATCH CAN DIY L99
I like the look and build quality of the Catch Can pretty cool and helpfull little mod. The item arrived quickly. Ill post the Oil change results at my next oil change TOOLS NEEDED Ratchet 15 mm 11mm sockets Razor blade DIY NOTES: I run my car with the Engine cover off, I will be getting a longer hose and tucking it away in the future to make it look a bit cleaner Ill also be adding hose clamps as well Having big mits isnt much of a help having a buddy with smaller hands helps Attachment 11883 Attachment 11884 Attachment 11885 Attachment 11886 Attachment 11887 Attachment 11888 Attachment 11889 Attachment 11890 Attachment 11891 Attachment 11892 We tucked the drain clear hose neatly away |

Nice, simple, and to the point, good write-up!
BTW did you check if there's room below the passengerside headlight to mount the can down there? That way if there is your catch-can will work even better, you can then (after drilling a small hole under the car) drain the can by reaching under the nose of the car, and it'll keep the engine bay less cluttered. I did this on my 99Z28 and it works great, but I don't know if you can do it on the 5th Gen Camaro SS. |

Arrrgh...this reminds me to finish my writeup/review of the catch can I have yet to install.
Mike...check back in a few hundred miles and let us know how much oil is catches. |
