I consistantly have trouble speed shifting from 2nd to 3rd without gear grind, not any other gear, just those two, Dealer hears no field reports on gear mesh. Its as if I have to push the clutch all the way to the floor for ever and shift slowly. any idea's?

Got a friend with a similarly equipped car you can try?

I know no one with a SS Manual, What about fluid? I use a full synthetic (amsoil) fluid in my HP Harley Davidson and it makes a big difference in how it shifts, I tried to find out what chevy use's and only got guess's.

Most manual transmissions in recent memory are fileed with ATF. For a long time the T-56 was not recommended for synthetic fluids. The new ones may be synthetic compatible.
