I have a 2014 Camaro LS with a V6. I just changed the thermostat because the heat was not getting hot on cool mornings and I assumed the thermostat was stuck open. Now that I completed that task the heat while on the hottest setting is only warm the coolant temp is between 190 and 195. In addition, when switched to A/C and on the coldest setting the air is only cool not cold. I have checked each setting of the air positions and each position works properly. I mean under dash, dash, defrost. The A/C compressor turns on and off properly.
I turned the car off and turned the key to the position just before starting. I cycled the temp control **** and I can hear the actuator motor but I am not sure I the air mix door Is actually traveling fun range.
Does anyone have any ideas what I can try to fix this problem. I am not real sure how the mixed air door operates so i'm not sure what to do next.
I am pretty mechanical so I can do just about anything that I need.
