To compliment the previously released 2012 ZL1 Camaro Video – Phase One – Track Tuning the Magnetic Ride Suspension, Chevrolet has released Phase Two – Refining Launch Control. Watch the video above!

i wonder if the launch control changes based on the amount of grip or if it is simply set at a certain point? I would imagine it would have to adjust to different conditions since not all roads/drag strips are the same. Im just wondering what it does when you put drag radials or slicks on the car?

I was thinking about the exact same thing. I wonder if it uses sensors and an algorithm?

Looks like the guys were bogging the engine like crazy! A little tire speed does help but its a fine line.

Every track can be different but no more different than air conditions either. We were at Milan a few weeks ago. Pretty decent track but the roads to the track are the worst in the US!

Isn't the whole point to make it variable? He says it monitors and adjusts 50 times a second.
