I don't think you get it, the numbers are static they don't change, so the range is 0-160.

When the car is in metric mode, the gauge goes from 0-160 KM/h (so you peg out at 160KM/h but the car can still go faster.).

When you switch it over to imperial mode (is that what you guys call it?), the gauge goes from 0-160mph.

So same numbers on the display, just the rate that the pointer moves around the dial changes based on the mode.

It's fun to set it to KM/H instead of MPH to demonstrate how fast your car is to somebody that doesn't know the difference...

Exactly. Unless Canadian Camaros get a different gauge with larger numbers the few that do any racing of any sort will peg their speedo.

Probably an RS, SS, Z28, and maybe a plain Camaro.
I was thinking something similar. and thank god for the smaller lower grill. Love just about everything about it so far!

we all know that the L99 is the name of the 265cid 200hp V8 that was only used in the 94-96 Caprice, right? I hope that name that Road & Track claims is a misprint.

They could just be recycling a code from the past just like LS1, LS6, etc.

How are you guys seeing all that detail? I blow up the pictures and can't make out any numbers or letters or anything....
Is it my eyes or my computer?
Obviously I'm missing something

That's kind of what I was thinking. Position, mode, and brightness controls.

EDIT: Actually....after seeing a closer picture, it's not. It has resume and set/decrease buttons on it. Obviously Cruise Control. Now....what exactly is set / clear for on the left lever if cruise is on the wheel?
