I bet it does.

If the HP number Really do end up near 400 for a relatively easily available mid-level package (what Z28 was in the last generation) then I would think true dual exhaust would just about HAVE to be there to scavenge the heat.

Two into what looks like a single CAT with two pipes in and out, then straight back and switching sides after the IRS into separate mufflers exiting out back.

I'm pretty sure that was a resonator/x-pipe combo like the 05 and up GTO.
I'm betting it will have truel duels. Easier to package on an IRS car vs the 3rd and 4th gens with the long torque arm.

The concept had the system of the CAD drawing except that the tailpipes went to their respective sides, instead of going to the opposite. Much better IMO.

Now I can't remember, was the CAD for the concept chassis, or for the real chassis?

The concept did indeed have true duals, someone got a good pic of it.

I sure hope so, LSx engines sound amazing with true duals.

Everybody keeps thinking what is on the concept WILL be in production. Not true! Not meaning to rain on anybodys parade. Now with that said, it should with the power that they are looking for, but who knows.

Re: Will The New Camaro Have True Duals?

After going to a true dual setup on the GTO after the big fuss that was made I'm fairly confident that GM wont make the mistake of putting a y-pipe within a 100ft of a new V8 Camaro. It would deplete the desirability of the car if GM gave it to us with a single exhaust setup again. Just like the car needs to perform well, have some usability, good drivability and ergonomics, it has to sound good too. The Camaro WILL have true duals.

Big Fuss? Oh, you mean the fuss where all the morons thought that because the both the exhaust tips were on one side, that meant it didn't have true duals... When it had true duals all along
