I am sure it won't be me, just because I'm not willing to pay ten or twenty grand over MSRP.

I will be the first. . . I dream of that day. I have about half the money saved up and I have been in contact with a Chevy dealer about every month about me getting the car. They say they are not going to charge anything over msrp so we'll see. The only think I wish is we would hear something from chevy. I hate how everything is a damn secret

 

It certainly won't be me. I'm waiting 12-18 months for something special.

 

I'll try to hi-jack one at the gates as it's leaving the plant ... I'll have the first one!!! Ha, ha, ha!!!

The winner for the "1st 5th gen purchased contest" might also qualify for "Sucker of the Year" award, since the Camaro he bought 1st and paid an extra $15-20K for is going to be worth no more by years end than the guy who waited and found a place to buy it at sticker & drove it the same number of miles.

 

There are good dealers out there that will charge a fair price for the car. I hope whoever has the first here finds one of those dealerships.
