Looking for an answer for a weird vibration

My '13 ZL1 has a strange vibration. At 50 or so I can begin to feel it and it is at its worst around 72 mph. The vibration is non-typical in that the vibration is not anything like I tire out of balance with a predictable, regular bounce. It is a series of about five rapid bounces regularly spaced with a smooth spell before it starts a series of about five more bounces. It seems to get worse as I change between the five MR settings and then settles to the normal intensity again.

Dealer has rebalanced all tires. IMO, it feels like a bad shock but could also be the alignment since it has not been checked.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ...

Sorry if this is in the wrong area ...

I dont know how much it matters but. I think Chris mentioned the ZL1 is shipped with sort of clamps for lack of a better word, that keep the springs compressed to lower the ride height during shipping to the dealer. The dealer is supposed to take them off. Have you checked to see if they are still on? Just a shot in the dark. I could see a system trying to change the ride hight while that clamp is still on, maybe causing issues...

Im surprised no one else had ideas on this. Even if the dealer took those lowering clamps off the springs I would have the dealer check the suspension.

If you say it changes when you change suspension settings, it sounds like it could be a defect with with the MR system. If it is easy to replicate, take it back to the dealer and make them figure it out. That's what the warranty is for.
