when i meant the front fascia, i misspoke, the overall 'look' is the same, but the z/28 has a different grille pattern than the ss

Wow, what an event today. It was a very pleasant surprise and shocked a lot of people in attendance. Here are a couple of pics I took of the new Z/28.

A few key notes I took away from the Z/28 - this is going to be a serious track racecar, and the offical Top Dog in the lineup...trumping ZL1. Should be available by this time next year in dealer showrooms. Recaro seats are badass and are now an option in SS and ZL1 models for 2014.

I'm still unwinding from a crazy day at the show.

My goodness. I'm so glad I waited to fully judge the 2014 Camaro until today. Great job GM! The Z28 is back to take it's rightful place!

so z28 is going to be top dog......so im guessing im not going to be able to afford one just yet...... i guess they learned some lessons from porsche....take material away and charge more $. i personally dont thinkit should be more than the zl1....but nowim almost positive its going to be more.

chris, what is the color in that picture? is it peral white silver? flat white? looks almost like a flt peral white to me.

That was a flat white I believe. I think it was just done in that color for the show.

so probably not an option for the color? which would be cool if they offered flat colors. that would look good in a satin red or even blue. id do red so it would make the ugly taillights blend in more.......

I actually like the standard lights on the Z/28 more than the HID/LED ones included with the RS package. I'm still not 100% sold on the heat extractor though.

I'm with you. The non-LED lights look a lot better than the LEDs.
And I hope that chrome strip is either delete-able or removable. It's awful.

I've also read about 9 color coded grilles? What are those?
Are they like the Heritage grille?

a chrome accent within the grille on RS further accentuates the front of Camaro.
