Indy '08 - Have you registered yet?

This just in from John Fitzpatrick, Camaro Marketing Manager...

Friends of Camaro, Firebird and all of General Motors:

Thanks to the outstanding efforts of the Central Indiana Camaro Club, in less than two weeks we’ll be gathering at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, in Indianapolis, IN, to celebrate the return of the Camaro.

Will you be there?

Sure, you may have seen pictures of the new Camaro on various websites; read from cover to cover the leaked Sales Person Reference Guide; and downloaded the consumer specification sheet from Chevy.com/Camaro and think you know everything you need to know.

But do you?

Would you not like the chance to hear from the GM Designers who spent countless hours developing the Camaro's spectacular design, or the engineers responsible for the great performance? Or, talk to the marketing guys about the "Fergalicious" debut of the SS model?

How about driving some of the newest models General Motors has to offer around the infield of IMS? We will have a variety of new models including Cadillac CTS (you'll want to check out the engine); Pontiac G8 (an older kin?); and the new Chevy Malibu (the car you can't ignore) for you to "ride and drive" at the event.

But, there is only one place to experience all this, and get the answers to your questions - "Indy '08: Back to the Brickyard".

If you have registered for the September 19 - 21, 2008 weekend, we look forward to seeing you. If you have not registered, we strongly urge you to register now to avoid long lines at the event's registration table.

Since the early registration period has passed, the registration fee is now $50. You can register by visiting the Central Indiana Camaro Club site (just click here); but hurry, on line registration ends September 10, 2008.

Sincerely,

Camaro Marketing Team and Central Indiana Camaro Club
I think there was some confusion on registration. From what I read on the FAQ page, you have to register if you are bringing a car to the show. If you are not bringing a car you just a museum pass to get into the museum and the show itself.

I'd also like to mention once again that your weekend will not be complete without dropping by the CamaroZ28.Com Summit on Friday night!

Just registered for the Canturbury Hotel for Friday and Saturday night. Plan to be in town about 5:00 Friday night. What is the deal with the forum gathering? Where and when? I am also sending my registration tomorrow. I will make the post mark date by 1 day! Sounds like fun! My car is not too special to anyone but me but it is a decent 3rd gen. Needs paint but looks good from 20 feet in the right light :) See you guys next week.

At the Holiday Inn - right? What time is that?

We should be pulling in at 1-3PM Friday with about 40 people in about 22 Camaros.

I am planning on driving up Thursday evening after I get off work and get everything packed. Anybody going to be coming up I-65 North Thursday evening?

I hope these all of these hurricanes clear out and don't wreck out weekend with never ending rain.

I hope this the weather holds out over next weekend as in this extended forcast, but its still a bit far out. Sunny upper 70s/lower 80s would be perfect.
