A Different Sunroof
I thought this was interesting:
http://www.webastoshowroom.com/10Che...amaro5300.html Check the video at the bottom left. It shows an aftermarket sunroof that retains the reverse mohawk (what's left of it anyway) and slides INTO the roof instead of over it. IMO, it looks much cleaner than the factory sunroof when open, but I wonder if it takes away more headroom? |
Nice find!

thats the way it is supposed to work! I too wonder about the headroom compared to the standard sunroof.
|
So it would replace the factory unit and would have to be installed on a car that already paid extra for the option? Does look ALOT cleaner and the way it should have!

The video leads me to believe this is for a car that did not get the factory sunroof, because if you look closely, it is installed on a roof with the reverse mohawk. All sunroofs from the factory get a plain (non-reverse-mohawk) roof.
You are right I hadnt watched the clip... Very cool! |
