#5293 Delivered! Great Dealer!

I found a needle in a haystack! We were going crazy waiting for our 2SS to be built and I was searching 3 times a day for a car that matched the one I ordered and the miracle happened! I called the dealer and sure enough someone ordered the car and decided not to pick it up. The Dealer was not charging $5,000 to $10,000 over MSRP either. We did the deal over the phone and I flew from Florida to Rhode Island last weekend to pick it up. We drove to Virginia and took the auto train to central Florida, what a great trip. I have purchased many new cars throughout my life, but have never purchased a new car from a dealer with such integrity and honesty! I highly recommend doing business with them! Hurd Automall Johnston, RI.

I would like to post some photo's if someone could tell me how to to do it?

Yes we did have a problem with that, it separated from the front fender on the way home to Florida. The new one will be here on Tuesday. GM will be documenting the problem and may change the installation process. Right now it is held on by double stick tape. I just can’t see that holding on at high speed. We will see.

If you need a place to host images, every CamaroZ28.Com account has a photo gallery (and a blog, too!) It is pretty easy to use.
  1. Click on User CP in the nav bar above and then click on User Control Panel in the pop-up window. This will being you to your User CP main page
  2. Click Pictures & Albums in the left nav of your User CP
  3. Click Add Album and on the next screen, add the details you want
  4. Once you have an album created, go into it and click Upload Pictures
That's it! Once you have an image uploaded, there will be easy posting code below it when you view it.

If you want bigger pictures and more space for them, plus a bunch of other cool features, please consider upgrading your account to a Premium Membership.

There are several fasteners that must be put on as well as the double-sided tape - AND - the double-sided tape must cure for 24 hours.........

No fasteners...the fascia will fall off!

Yes, I did get a extra set of polished wheels and tires. I don't know if I should keep them or sell them?

First off Congrats! Nice Car but.....

Be careful with Hurd. I bought a used Z06 from them which I found out not too long after that it was in an accident and they failed to disclose that. I tried contacting them several times between my salesman all the way up the ladder and no one ever got back to me (I live in CT). Needless to say I got rid of the car and the fact that they never addressed the issue with me never mind never calling me back left a very sour taste for me.

Enjoy your car. And I originally had a Camaro on order but I got lured in by the 505HP C6 Z06. LOL.

Have Fun!!

double sided tape works for some things, like spoilers, but not for fround ground effects. i firgures there would be at least a screw or 2 in there.
