Haha, no -- it's a brand new independent rear suspension -- absolutely nothing in common with the 10-bolt, and last I heard there were people running 10s on slicks with built suspensions using the stock center section (most are using upgraded halfshafts though).

My guess would be that it will be driven by sales.

I would suggest buying what you want. If the orders don't show a color being popular, it would be likely considered for exclusion as an option.

IOW, if you want one, order one.

I think everything else is cool except the hud...

Im old school, I think all that extra "fluff" on a sports car is silly and not needed. If you look at some ferraris and Lambos they are almost barebone. Some don't even have power windows!

So cooled/heated seats, ambient lighting..etc etc... keep it! The hud is yet a bit more weight added to an already "land yacht" of a sports car. I like 5th gens alot but all this extra bs weight crap .... needs to go. just my .02

I thought a similar thing until I got my corvette with HUD. Its a great tool to have the info you want right in sight without being intrusive, so it is easy to read without distracting you from the road . It is just a very small display, not something that uses half your view or anything.

Agreed on HUD....Disagree big time on "land Yacht" comment. The Camaro is an edgy , heavy, powerful, well built, fast, beautifully styled american Muscle car....couple hundred pound diet would help but not a deal breaker for me and as the car breaks in more and more the car feels ....lighter ...lol...maybe my foot is heavier....Land Yacht?? nope. Want a car that is light like a Vette and has all the good stuff?? Get ready for a MAJOR price increase...

That is what the SS1 is for - cloth interior with few options. Personally, after riding in cars with cooled seats, I will try to get them on every car or truck I ever buy again.

Agree with you on the cooled seats! I have them on my '09 Traverse LTZ and love them. I wish every car had that option!
