Please help me pick a new spoiler!
Hi guys, I have a victory red 2SS with black Rallys. The only thing that I really am not thrilled with is the small stock spoiler. I happened to be in the right place at the right time and have the opportunity to buy one of the SLP ZL585 Camaro spoilers. As you know the part is not available separately, only if you buy the entire car so it would definitely be unique. My question is, what spoiler do you guys like better? The ZL spoiler, or one of MPD1's?

Re: Please help me pick a new spoiler!
The part number is out for the GM blade spoiler. I went to the local "stealership" and they said it would be $1000 CDN and change for the IOM spoiler. Coming painted, I can kind of understand but at the same time, a couple online stores have the MDP1 and SLP spoilers for around $200-$400. This is the dealership I walked out of, when they said they wanted a $500 deposit to test drive a 2010 SS with a salesman in the car. Personally though, I like the look of the SLP... The only thing I'd have a concern about with the MDP is the wear on the paint on the rear quarters, given it's not a 3 piece.

id go with the SLP spoiler. even if you dont want it, you could later sell it to someone who may. since its a part that you cant get but through the SLP 585. i may be interested in it if you buy it and dont want it.....

winter storage is the best time to work on a car. ill be doing all kinds of stuff to mine this winter.
side rockers will go one this weekend, hopefully. bushings will go on the weekend after that.
putting headers on my dads vette the weekend after that.

Nice! What year vette does your dad have. I think a cold air intake is next on my list. I'd love to put headers on my car, but I'll get the dreaded CEL code, and have to get it tuned to get rid of it. As soon as that happens the warranty is gone. I guess I'll wait a few years.

Really! You must have a pretty cool dealer. I asked my dealer about my warranty if I got a tune done, and they told me flat out that as soon as I would mess with the computer that the warranty would be voided. What exhaust are you running with your headers? What brand of headers?
