Re: Diy sequential tail lights
Nice! This is an easy mod that is almost fun to do.
One tip...make sure you put dielectric grease on all contacts if necessary. I even use the stuff on household bulbs. Cheap insurance. |

Re: Diy sequential tail lights
Has anyone who did this noticed a "check rear bulb" warning on the DIC after installing this? I get that sometimes when I am done using the turn signal. However, the bulbs are fine.
I think that when I move the turn signal lever to the "off" position, it is sometimes in mid-sequence...like the one bulb has fired but the other one didn't, and somehow the lighting system knows it and thinks it second bulb in the sequence is burned out. |
Re: Diy sequential tail lights
Yes the check bulb info comes on pretty often.Today though it came on and the signal is flashing quickly. This sounds like a bulb. When she gets home it's taillight fixn' time!
