what rims came with my 97 ss camaro
there are so meany rims that are out there i wanted to know what the orangal one that were on the car when it rolled of the lot i know they were 17s but there are like 30 diffrent stiles and also know of any for sale some how i got the z28s on my car?

Most common ones are the red bowtie but the 96-97 specific center caps on the ZR1 style wheels are gonna have the "SS" emblem not the bowtie..the 00-02 got the option of the 10 spokes with the Bowtie or blank center caps, but you can still opted in for the ZR1 styled wheels for them.

These are the ones I currently have, which are for sale..These are the 98-02 models because they are red bowtie..I don't have the 96-97 specific but you can google those the only difference would be the SS caps instead of the red bowtie ...They also do come in chrome..

Is your SS a coupe or a convertible? Only the coupes got 17x9.0" wheels. The convertibles got 16x8.0" wheels, same design though.
Its the only decent wheel pik i have of my 97 ss. Hope this helps.

Thats good 2 know. ive always wondered why the guy b4 me put 16in ss style wheels on the car. i thought they were aftermarket since i always saw ss and the 97 anniversary cars had the 17in wheels. is there anywhere that sales this style wheels nowadays or do u have 2 just find them on sum1's car?

People are constantly selling these wheels in favor of vettes but if you want...there is an aftermarket company that does sell the wheels OE Wheels LLC they sell repro of the ZR1's and plenty of other wheels.

Chrome can go for significantly higher than the silvers (I've sold chromes for double the price of silvers) but with time you can just sand down and get the machined face look have it polished and get a shine similar but wont be quite chrome..pm me for more.

O ok well mine is an all black ss and I want it to look fact stock but chrom would make it pop so good but I was wondering on what we are talking about for price I looked on eBay fond some after market ones look a likes for like 600
