Torque Thrusts - which color/finish on a white f body?
Leaning towards black American Racing torque thrusts. 18 x 9 front and back. Any suggestions?

I think the black or polished would look perfect on white - preference is black if i had to pick! Reasoning - would go well with the black trim near the lights and portion of the car above the door.
Looking at the same wheels myself and cant decide (black 95 convertible) - leaning towards anthracite.

Awesome, would you be able to post the tire size's you got too? Having a bit of a time trying to determine the ideal tire sizes to get for the rim, online calculators don't really align to some of the forum posts and or options on shops!

If you are asking about 18" x 9" wheels the correct tire would be 275/35-18. That's the widest tire you can put on a 9" wide wheel, and the outside diameter is 25.6" matching the diameter of the optional 245/50-16 or SS's 275/40-17 tires.
You might be able to squeeze a 285/35-18 on a 9" wide wheel (technically requires a 9.5" wide wheel). The 25.9" diameter would be a closer to the base 235/55-16 stock tire's 26.1" diameter.
Or, if you want a narrower tire, look at a 255/40-18. That's a 26.0" diameter tire.
If you don't get close to your stock tire diameter, you have to program the new tire diameter into the PCM to keep the speedometer and odometer accurate.
Different manufacturers, and even same size tire's in a different style from the same manufacturer have slight variations in recommended wheel width, and actual tire diameter. Once you pick a specific tire, check the manufacturer's website for the exact range of acceptable wheel width, and the diameter.

Thx Injuneer - I'm looking at 17x9's actually so looks like 275/40-17 is the way to go. I'll put up a new post so i don't hijack this thread though with a few of my thoughts!

Would have been a good idea to include that info in your earlier post. Wasted a lot of time on this one.

I found it pretty hard to find a site to buy these. Every site said they wouldn't fit. I'm interested to see a pic of a white Z with the polished ones.
