Trans Am with zr1's 17x11 and 36mm offset?

How much are the wheels going to stick out in the back?

They will move out exactly 0.55" further than these:

So if i went over a bump, my rear wheels would hit the fenders and damage them?

You would very likely need to "roll" the sharp inner edge of the fender opening up a bit. Otherwise, the edge of the lip would rub on the outside edge of the tires. Even with the 50mm offset, I had one side rub on the tire on really hard shifts.

I ran 36mm offset 17x11 chrome ZR1s on the rear of my Formula for over year without a problem. Went to the track often too. Pulled countless 2.0 60's and never did any visible damage to the tires. Had a nice wide lip on those 36mm ZR1s, looked awesome.

Again depends on what has been done to the car.

PHR, LCA's, spring rate, bar size. Lowered? How much?

94bird used the 36mm offset wheels at all corners with no problems.

Re: Trans Am with zr1's 17x11 and 36mm offset?

I had black 36 mm offset 17x11 ZR1 wheels . Pics are in my sig . I wouldnt EVER do that again . After shredding up the sidewall on one tire , I rolled the inner lip and still had problems . On the highway , areas where theres a dip the tires will almost always kiss the top of the fender lip and hard cornering they will as well . Maybe stock ride height you would have better luck , I dunno . a friend of mine has 50mm 17x11's on his TA and it just looks so much better and there are no issues at all .
