Hi fellas, first time posting. I just need feed back for a 15x10 wheel,I have 1.50 space between outer rim lip& inside fender lip.was looking to put a 305/60/ on,if you have tire mounted and air up and were to put a straight edge across from side wall to side wall and measure down to rim lip,how much would tire stick out past lip? thanks!!!!!

Difficult to answer precisely without knowing the exact wheel, and the exact tire.
A 305 section width tire is theoretically 12.0" wide at the widest point (that's the section width). 305/25.4 = 12.0
But the actual width varies with the brand of tire, and the wheel width it was designed for vs the wheel width it is mounted on.
A 10.0" wide wheel is 10.0" wide inside the flanges where the tire bead sits. The flanges are typically about 1/2" wide (but some are a bit narrower - e.g. Weld Pro-Stars = 1/4"). So the outside dimensions of your 10.0" wide wheel is 11.0" or possibly slightly less.
(12.0 - 11.0)/2 = 0.50" = 1/2" = the distance the tire projects beyond the outer edge of the wheel.
If you have the specific wheels and tires, we can check using manufacturer's data. Since you have your wheels, you can measure the OUTSIDE width of the wheel, and subtract it from 12.0, and divide the result by 2 to get a more accurate estimate.
