Nitto Extreme Drag Radials!
On a set of Z06 wheels. 275/45/17s. Just getting the rear wheels with the drags. $175. SOunded like good deal. Will have to look for a set of wheels for the front. Chrome ones. Picking them up this evening. Are these pretty good tires??

Do you mean the 555R? In general, the Nittos rate a bit lower in track traction than the M/T and BFG drag radials. But they are probably better for street use and tread wear than either of those.
I think you mean 275/40-17.

Re: Nitto Extreme Drag Radials!
Cost looked good and will be mostly road driving. I believe your right on both. Pics look like 555Rs, and I couldnt find 45s listed on Nitto site, so assume he got that mixed up. Shouldnt be any prop with these on my 96 z28?

Re: Nitto Extreme Drag Radials!
Depends which Z06 (C5 or C6?) wheels you are referring to, and whether they are factory wheels, or aftermarket replicas.
The C5 Z06 factory wheels were:
Front: 17 x 9.5" 54mm offset
Rear: 18 x 10.5" 58mm offset
Stock 4th Gen V8 model wheels are 16 x 8.0" 55mm offset
Stock 4th Gen SS/WS6 coupe wheels are 17 x 9.0" 50mm offset
Not likely they are C6 Z06 wheels, since they are 18" in front and 19" in the rear.
